We visited Alice Springs earlier this year from Germany and Austria. Nice country you have over there, but too hot and thirsty. We heard stories of people from overseas who really died of thirst. In the town, life is not very much alive. It is like a sleepy country place where everything crawls along at a snail’s pace …
