From California (USA): “Is it true that your Northern Territory has zillions of marriageable males?”REPLY: “Weeeell, ‘zillions’ might be a SLIGHT exaggeration. But yes, we do have big mobs of blokes roaming around the outback with an eye for a good looking sheila (female). A mate of mine said: ‘If you find one that can ride a horse, mend a barbed wire fence, muster and brand cleanskins (cattle),track stray horses, make a roo stew – well, send her over, and I’ll marry her next week.’”
